The analyst also claims that some Apple Watch Series 7 devices have been shipping from Vietnam for some time. The expert predicts that by the time the Apple Watch Series 8 is released this autumn, up to 70% of Apple Watch units will be made in Vietnam. Luxshare “is the frontrunner in constructing production lines” amongst suppliers outside of China. Long-term protection for Apple against the “deglobalization tendency” should result from the move of Apple Watch manufacture from China to Vietnam. Additionally, Kuo recently disclosed that Apple plans to begin manufacturing at least one model of the iPhone 14 series in India concurrently with China.
