According to pricebaba, the Galaxy Flip 4 will be priced at €1080 or ~$1102 for the 128 GB storage version. Higher end models such as the 256 GB and 512 GB will be priced at a hefty €1,160 or ~$1180 and €1,280 or ~$1300 respectively. This is a massive $100 increase over the Flip 3. Considering the fact that Fold is considered as the ‘premium‘ variant out of the two, a question will arise regarding the pricing of the Fold 4. One can blame supply chain issues and the ongoing inflation for these price hikes. Some experts suggest that a recession is underway leading to more price increments by all manufacturers. The Flip/Fold 4 series is supposedly going to feature Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 which outperforms the Apple A15 Bionic chip. The Samsung ‘Galaxy Unpacked‘ event is planned for 10th August, 2022 and more details are en route as the days pass.
