ShrimpApplePro, a user on Twitter who shared the listing, is not the one selling the Pixel Tablet with a speaker dock. If you wish to be an early collector, you can get the hardware for a fair price of $400 from an unknown vendor who was able to obtain two Google devices before their anticipated availability next year.
— ShrimpApplePro 🍤 (@VNchocoTaco) December 19, 2022 The tablet and dock seen in the photographs are practically indistinguishable from the ones Google revealed in official drawings, prompting us to suspect that the listing may be authentic. The tablet includes hefty bezels surrounding the display with a front-facing camera built in the top bezel, a USB Type-C connector on the left side flanked by speaker grilles, and two microphones on the top edge.
— ShrimpApplePro 🍤 (@VNchocoTaco) December 19, 2022 The dock, on the other hand, has the “G” logo from Google, a rear charging port, and pogo pins for connecting to the tablet. It has a woven fabric finish similar to Google’s Nest range of smart speakers. The listing is silent on the hardware specifications of the Pixel Tablet. However, according to earlier rumours, the tablet would have two 8MP Sony IMX355 sensors, a 10.95-inch display, up to 256GB of storage, and Google’s own Tensor SoC. Similar to the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, the storage is probably not extendable, and Wi-Fi 6 rather than the most recent Wi-Fi 6E standard is supported. Google intends to release the tablet early in the next year, and we anticipate the corporation will provide further information in the weeks before the debut.
