But that’s not all, gameplay for Persona 5 Royal Remastered has been revealed for the Xbox Series X, and it looks pretty darn good! The game has received the well-deserved 4k 60 FPS treatment, but that’s just the cherry on top. The real juicy bit involves the fact that the game is coming to the Xbox Series X with over 40 DLC packs and, new districts, a new playable character. And for those who have Gamepass, they can play it for free in October!

Persona 5 Remastered Royale Gameplay on the Xbox Series X

The footage for the game was provided by a Youtuber by the name of Faz. As you can see, the game runs at a solid 60 FPS for the first time. This is pretty exciting for Persona fans who wanted Persona 5 Royal Remastered to be given the perfect next-generation treatment. It was announced back in June that Persona 5 Royal Remastered, which has been missing from the Xbox platform as a whole, will release for the first time, for the Xbox Series X on October 21, 2022.

But fans have to be a bit patient till they get their hands on the full series as the previous iterations of the game, being Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden, won’t be coming to the Xbox Series X any time soon. Expect a delayed release sometime late in 2023.  Persona 5 Royal Remastered won’t come empty-handed once it lands for the Xbox Series X. Expect to enjoy up to 40 DLC packs and tons of engaging content. While the bulk of the DLC packs consists of costumes, such as dressing up the Persona 5 characters as cast members across the entirety of the Persona series, some of them, such as the Persona Raoul, will prove to be more substantial. Personas are basically the various attacks that players can make use of in the game. They function pretty similar to what you’re used to in Pokemon games, as players can level them up and collect new ones throughout the game.
